The Anna Independent School District Board received the Certification of Unopposed Candidates for Places 5 and 7 and adopted an Order of Cancellation for the scheduled May 2, 2026 trustee election at its March 9 meeting.
The motion to receive the certification, declare the candidates elected and cancel the election was made by Cody Bridwell and seconded by Jason Adams; the board voted unanimously to adopt the order. Superintendent Toby Tucker presented the certification to the board.
With the action, the district will not hold the May 2 election for the listed places because the candidates were certified unopposed. The board’s action was recorded in the meeting minutes.
