Board approves Kankakee special-ed IGA, consolidated plan and FY27 fee schedule

The board approved the Kankakee Area Special Education Cooperative (CASEC) intergovernmental agreement to continue cooperative special education services and to enable pursuit of IDEA and Title grants. Trustees also approved the consolidated district plan and adopted the FY27 fee schedule. Staff noted the only changes in fees were insurance (up by $5) and adjustments related to lunch calculations; they confirmed the district did not increase meal prices beyond state guidance. The motions for the IGA, the consolidated plan and the fee schedule were each moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.
