The report listed checking at $2,978,067.89, investments of $5,844,986.39 and a May real estate distribution of $699,309.52. The district recorded May receipts of $1,228,167.89 and May expenses of $1,521,552.93.
"Your number at 1st Community Bank and Trust is $2,978,067.89," the report stated. Trustees moved to approve the treasurer's report as presented and passed the motion by voice vote. The report closes with a signature line reading, "Signed, Mike Peters, treasurer," which the board used as the official record for the submitted figures. The board approved routine financial items later in the meeting, including authorization to expend funds for fiscal year 2027 prior to formal budget adoption under the Illinois School Code.
