The board authorized advertisement of bid specifications for Phase 2 of the campus master plan (new Hilton Driveway) with an identified project amount of $2,490,000 and set a bid due date of Dec. 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the board room. Facilities staff said the district completed design decisions (stormwater retention, utility pole removal) and hopes for bid-day savings to increase scope.
"The bids will go out; they'll be due on December 19 at 1PM in this room, and we are hoping for some bid day savings," a facilities representative told the board. Staff also said they have coordinated with the City of Brecksville and the Chippewa Hills Homeowners Association and will return with bid results and any bid-day adjustments.
