At a special meeting on Feb. 23, 2026, the School Board of Independent School District No. 696 approved a revised 2025–2026 school year budget by a unanimous 5–0 vote. Clerk Hollee Coombe called the meeting to order in the Media Center at 6:16 p.m., and the board adjourned at 6:31 p.m.
Director Omerza moved "to approve the revised 2025-2026 school year budget," and Director Colarich seconded the motion; the minutes record the action as "Motion carried (Vote: 5,0)." The recorded roll call lists Directors Westlund, Coombe, Colarich, Omerza and Moravitz as present and Director Sjoberg as absent.
