Archer City ISD board adopts routine minutes, policy update and several district reports

At its Dec. 18 meeting the Archer City ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved minutes from Nov. 20, 2025; adopted Board Policy Update 126; approved the district FIRST financial rating and other routine items; and scheduled the next meeting for Jan. 19, 2026.
The Archer City ISD Board of Trustees convened Dec. 18, 2025, and approved a set of routine governance items, including the minutes from its Nov. 20 meeting and Board Policy Update 126.
Trustee Tommy Keeter moved to approve the Nov. 20, 2025 minutes; Trustee Jacie Ferguson seconded and the motion passed with the recorded votes: Kelly Wooldridge (yes), Taylor Weaver (yes), Beau Reneau (yes), Tommy Keeter (yes), Josh Winter (yes) and Jacie Ferguson (yes). Trustee Taylor Weaver then moved to approve Board Policy Update 126; Trustee Josh Winter seconded and the board voted unanimously to adopt the update.
The board also held a public hearing and approved the district's FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) rating and financial management report, accepted the Title III annual report, and adopted junior high and high school campus improvement plans. Trustees approved hiring Michael Wolf as a secondary teacher and coach and later voted to approve the financial report and pay bills. An executive session on personnel produced no action.
The board adjourned at 8:50 p.m. and set its next regular meeting for Jan. 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
