Principal Eunice Banks reviewed early-grade assessment data and outlined a set of interventions intended to accelerate growth among younger students. Banks presented MCLASS reading results and MAP math scores for kindergarten through second grade and said the campus will focus on "implementing daily structured phonics" and building an early math foundation in kindergarten.
Banks also described targeted interventions for students scoring below the 40th percentile and the district’s plan to monitor progress using exit tickets and data trackers aimed at the lowest-performing standards. The presentation included a set of action items intended to provide small-group remediation and monitor growth through regular data checks.
