During the Sept. 14 meeting Wade Zimmer provided the board with a construction update on the district bond project.
Zimmer reported the slab was poured in a single pour using 600 yards of concrete. Contractors are working on curbs for Cougar Drive and a cement-block fire barrier adjacent to the gym wall. He said a metal building is scheduled for delivery next week, updated drawings were submitted to reflect topography discovered during construction, and the team discussed adding additional parking to the design.
The minutes do not list a timeline for the full project completion or a firm delivery date for the metal building beyond "next week."
