During the June 28 workshop, David Edison provided a construction update on campus infrastructure and raised a question about curbs on Cougar Drive, a new service road being added at the back of campus.
Edison said the current plans do not include curbs for much of the drive and recommended adding them to protect the road's long-term integrity. He noted the change would be an additional expense not previously allocated. Trustees asked staff to return with more information, including cost estimates, at the next regular board meeting before authorizing any changes to the project scope.
The board did not vote on the construction item at the workshop; the update was recorded as an informational briefing and a follow-up assignment to staff.
