As part of the FY2026–2030 Capital Improvement Plan review, planning staff listed several public safety, parks and public works projects that the commission found consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
Fire Department items included expansion of two stations (21st & 193rd; N 33rd W and Newton) and replacement of a breathing air compressor. Police projects included expansion of a backup site with Motorola MCC7500 radio consoles, replacement of radio consolettes and desksets at main 911 and backup centers, replacement of air chillers and a generator at the 911 center, and expansion of data‑center fire suppression at the 911 facility. Parks items included rehabilitation and roof replacement work at the Tulsa Zoo. Public Works items cited replacement/rehabilitation of the 41st St & 145th Ave intersection and related engineering inspection and testing services.
Commissioner Turner‑Addison moved to approve the CIP conformance finding; Commissioner Rosene Robinson seconded. The motion passed 7‑0‑0. Staff comments tied these projects to planitulsa goals for public facilities, data‑driven service planning, and transportation maintenance.
