Task force sets October draft target and plans structured follow-ups to finalize legislative recommendations

"We might even end up needing to go kind of line by line and kind of approve each recommendation for the report," one chair said, describing the process for finalizing the draft that will go to the commissioner's office and then onward as part of the legislative reporting process. Franchesca added that the legislation calls for the agency to submit a legislative report after convening partners.
Members agreed to compile structured questions for DSS and DPH so agency staff can provide code-level, provider-level and measure-specific data in future meetings. The group scheduled additional subgroup and full-task-force meetings over the coming months and adjourned after a motion and second.
The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn and members thanked each other for their time; chairs reiterated they will circulate schedules and contact lists to keep subgroup work coordinated.
