Anna Freundschuh, Drainage & Environmental Compliance Specialist, brought two drainage items before the board.
The board approved a State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreement to assist in cleaning the historic channel alignment of County Ditch 15 immediately upstream of the state-owned water control structure on Diamond Lake. That motion was moved by Commissioner Dave Preisler and seconded by Commissioner Steve Rohlfing and recorded as approved unanimously.
Separately, the board tabled a requested change order from Selly Excavating Inc. for repairs at a railroad crossing on Le Sueur County Ditch No. 62 to clarify pricing. The minutes record the original contract price of $62,951.00 and state that with the proposed change order the total would be $69,102.98; the board did not approve the change order at this meeting.
