Grand Prairie schedules Home Ownership Fair at Ruthie Jackson Center on Aug. 8

The Grand Prairie Housing and Neighborhood Services Annual Home Ownership Fair is set for Saturday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ruthie Jackson Center, the presenter announced. On‑site registration opens at 8 a.m., and preregistration and event information are available at gptx.org/homeownershipfair.
A staff member promoting the event said the fair will bring home‑ownership industry organizations and experts to offer advice on credit, down payment assistance, foreclosure prevention and home repair. The presenter noted family activities, prize drawings and a free lunch will be provided to attendees.
