Commission to send limited representation to Miss Asia America pageant amid budget concerns

"So right now, you guys have used about, $3,000 of that of that 8,000," staff (speaker 6) said, noting the commission began with an $8,000 allocation and has used roughly $3,000 to date. Members agreed to limit attendance to two representatives—Glenna and Alex—to manage costs while ensuring the commission is represented during the introductory acknowledgments.
Members also discussed that acknowledgments typically occur early in the program and that representatives should plan to attend that portion. Staff will track dinner charges and ticket purchases in the next budget report so the commission can assess remaining funds ahead of other fall events.
