MCOE receives clean audit, board approves 2023–24 financial report

Christie, presenting remotely, told the board the audit for the year ending 06/30/2024 produced the best possible opinions across financial statements, state compliance and federal compliance. "In our opinion, the financial statements are fairly presented and won't materialize effect," she said, and noted there were no audit adjustments and no findings in internal control or compliance.
Board members sought a minor correction to the organizational listing in the report (the identified board president and vice president as of 06/30/2024). Christie agreed to supply a corrected page so the official record will show Drew Duncan as president and Marilyn Fugit as vice president. Following the presentation the board moved to approve the audit; the motion passed on a unanimous voice vote.
