County clerk reports busy early voting, receives polling-place grant and conveys eight tax-sale properties

County Clerk & Recorder Tina Dolder told the board on Oct. 15 that September income was $14,864.45 and that early voting for the General Election has been busier than normal.
Dolder reported that 433 Vote-by-Mail packets were sent and there have been 139 early votes recorded to date. She said the county received a polling place grant totaling $45,528.45 and that $15,000 of that grant will go toward installing a handicap entrance at the Vote Center. Dolder presented Resolutions 2024-27 through 2024-34 to convey eight acquired properties to buyers from the tax sale; the board approved the conveyances on a 5-0 roll-call vote.
