Students and teachers recognized for performance and professional achievement
Summary
At the Feb. 5 meeting, the Board recognized a student of the month, showcased CVPA Dance student work, honored two teachers for National Board Certification, and presented a community partnership award to Texas Health Community Hope.
The Board highlighted student achievement and staff accomplishments during recognitions. Representatives from the CVPA Dance senior class, led by Dr. Brianna Miller, demonstrated a choreography exercise. Xavier Nolasco from Martin High School was named Student of the Month for February.
The Board also recognized two educators—Lindsay Paine (Miller Elementary) and Rachel Higbee (South Davis Elementary)—for earning National Board Certification, and presented a Community Partner Award to Texas Health Community Hope for ongoing support of Arlington ISD students and families.
