Board approves budget parameters and sets notice of election

At its Feb. 19 meeting the Arlington ISD Board approved its Budget Development Parameters and Assumptions and also approved a Notice of Election.
The Finance and Academics Committee, led by Vice President Sarah McMurrough, received a follow-up budget workshop presentation from Chief Financial Officer Norberto Rivas on Feb. 9; that committee work preceded the board's motion to adopt budget parameters. The minutes record: "Motion made by David Wilbanks to adopt the Budget Development Parameters and Assumptions as presented, seconded by Sarah McMurrough. Voting For: 5 Voting Against: 0." Separately, a motion by Larry Mike, seconded by David Wilbanks, approved the Notice of Election with a 5–0 vote.
