Survey shows cautious but increased support for bond proposals after voters receive information

Matt Gamble of Baselice & Associates presented the results of a community sentiment survey conducted among Arlington voters about a potential bond election. Gamble reported generally positive perceptions of the district and said support increased substantially after respondents received additional information about proposed projects.
The presentation emphasized that tax concerns were the primary cause of opposition; relatively few respondents viewed proposed projects as unnecessary. Gamble’s findings were presented to give the Board guidance on messaging and community education ahead of the proposed bond election.
