Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Chris Delehanty gave trustees a facilities update covering design elements for site plan, front entry, courtyard and lunch area, as well as plans for a learning commons and learning nooks. Delehanty walked through the Division of the State Architect (DSA) submittal process and outlined next steps on the project timeline.
Trustees asked clarifying questions about schedule and DSA review. Trustee Alan Kholos, reflecting on recent site visits, said it was "amazing to see it filled with children in action learning," praising the use of the space during site visits. Staff indicated that additional design documents and DSA steps will be shared as the project advances through review.
The minutes show the facilities update as an informational report; any subsequent approvals or staff direction will be recorded in future board materials.
