After May 24 fire, village weighs temporary building as insurers sort claims

Because the village will receive a replacement apparatus but lacks storage, staff and trustees are negotiating whether a temporary elevated structure can be placed on a parcel in a flood zone and are discussing terms with local partners that might host the temporary building. The board discussed timeline and costs; staff said they would bring more details to the next meeting as negotiations continue.
