Superintendent: construction on schedule; district honored with Texas Way District of Distinction

Superintendent Victoria S. Joslin told the board that construction work across district campuses remains on track and that furniture quotes have been received to allow ordering of in-stock items. The board recognized Coach Mark DelPercio after the district earned the Texas Way District of Distinction Award; the minutes note Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco ISD is the only 2A district in Texas to receive the award and one of three in South Texas. Curriculum Director Debbie Guerra presented preliminary STAAR scores showing overall campus growth compared with 2025 and said special education compliance requirements are complete and closed out for the year.
