Debby Buentello moved to approve the district compensation plan and Jonathan Garcia seconded; the motion passed 7-0.
Board members also approved the UIL Stipend Handbook and the district stipend plan for the 2026-2027 school year. Business Manager Amenda Asevedo told the board that "the service center is assisting with the budget process," signaling that the district is coordinating external support while finalizing payroll and stipend budgeting. The approvals were recorded as unanimous votes in the public minutes.
