The Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco Independent School District Board of Trustees on June 17 voted unanimously to adopt the district’s compensation plan for 2026-27, a separate non-certified teacher compensation plan, and a district stipend plan designed for the coming year. Debby Buentello moved to approve the district compensation plan and Jonathan Garcia seconded; the motion passed 7-0.
Board members also approved the UIL Stipend Handbook and the district stipend plan for the 2026-2027 school year. Business Manager Amenda Asevedo told the board that "the service center is assisting with the budget process," signaling that the district is coordinating external support while finalizing payroll and stipend budgeting. The approvals were recorded as unanimous votes in the public minutes.
