Staff and community responses indicated high regard for teachers (87% view teachers as possessing characteristics of good educators) and strong civic engagement (76% reported voting in local elections and 49% volunteering with BISD in the past year). District staff noted parents and students raised mental‑health and bullying concerns and asked for clearer college and career navigation supports.
