The motion was made by James Scardami and seconded by Kenneth Eaton. The board recorded a unanimous vote in favor: Kenneth Eaton, Lora Beth Robicheaux, Priscilla Robinson, James Scardami, Trent Tinnin, Mark West and Jill Westmoreland all voted "Yea" (7–0).
