CFO Farrah Jernigan also reported that the district has begun to accumulate cost savings and is exploring additional revenue‑generation strategies. Superintendent Christopher Townsend highlighted a $2,000 donation to Matagorda County Youth Charities and thanked partners; the board recorded appreciation and planned continued collaboration.
