Later in the evening the board again met in closed session under Texas Government Code §§551.071 and 551.074 and, after returning to open session, voted to deny an employee Level III grievance following the same procedural pattern. The minutes summarize the second motion: “Chris Dillon moved and Priscilla Ruiz seconded to deny the Level III grievance filed by complainant as discussed in Closed Session.”
The minutes note that, pursuant to SB 413, the Board’s official minutes will record each board member’s vote and be posted on the district’s website within seven days but will remain unofficial until formally approved at the following month’s board meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
