Board hears HB3 update; approves 2025–26 Targeted Improvement Plans for five campuses

Kendra Monk then presented required Targeted Improvement Plans (TIPs) for campuses identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement. The board unanimously approved 2025–26 TIPs for Camino Real Elementary, Cedar Creek Elementary, Lost Pines Elementary, Red Rock Elementary, and Bastrop Middle School; the motion was moved by Priscilla Ruiz and seconded by Dr. Matthew Mix.
Monk said TIP goals focus on Academic Achievement, Academic Growth and Closing the Gaps, with district coaching and leadership support to help campuses exit identification over time.
