Board reconvenes from closed session and approves personnel recommendations

Trustee Becky Tice made the motion to adjourn to closed session earlier in the meeting; upon reconvening Trustee George Barrera moved and Trustee Clint Pipes seconded to return to open session. The recorded post-closed-session motion to "approve these professional candidates as presented" passed by unanimous vote (7-0). The agenda lists multiple personnel subitems (renewals, terminations, awards of probationary and term contracts) that were considered in closed session; the public record in the minutes notes only the board's approval action.
