Trustees approve $2.2 million guaranteed maximum price for transportation parking expansion

The board moved to accept the proposed total GMP and soft costs using a Construction Manager at Risk delivery method. George Barrera, trustee, made the motion and Becky Tice seconded; the vote was 7–0 in favor. The project scope in the packet describes 30 new bus parking spaces and 13 white-fleet parking spaces; trustees did not amend the GMP at the meeting and directed staff to proceed with contract execution and next steps for procurement and scheduling.
