Superintendent Toliver outlines key reports; next regular meeting set for Nov. 10

Superintendent Caroline Toliver used the Oct. 8 meeting to provide administrative updates and to set the board calendar. She said the next regular school board meeting will be Nov. 10, 2025 at 5:30 p.m., and noted that the two unopposed single‑member district candidates from the Nov. 4 election will be sworn in during that meeting.
Toliver also reported a package of routine items: attendance/enrollment, the investment report, the September supplemental pay report, and several notices, including that the 2025–26 Emergency Operations Plan and Active Threat Annex have been submitted and that there is a voting‑entitlement notice for the Runnels County Appraisal District Board of Directors.
Program director Dr. Sarah Atkinson and school principals provided regular departmental and campus reports during the meeting, including a tax collection report, budget report, curriculum and instruction monthly report with an annual ESL program evaluation, and principal reports from elementary, junior high and high school leaders. Athletic directors Coach Bryan Gayoso and Coach Nathan Riggan presented an athletics update.
