County Clerk & Recorder Tina Dolder reported Oct. income of $17,356.86 and said the October election saw 82.3% turnout, the highest in Putnam County history, while noting the office operated short-staffed during the election and plans to catch up on work over the next two months. "This office needs 3 staff during an election, running short is not good," Dolder said.
Dolder presented two action items — Resolutions 2024-36 and 2024-37 — to convey two acquired properties to buyers from the tax sale; both motions carried on roll-call votes of 3 ayes, 0 nays, and 1 absent. The clerk was directed to process both conveyance resolutions and the County Clerk & Recorder’s reports were placed on file for public review.
