Highway engineer: no bids on 2015 dump truck; bridge inspections complete

County Highway Engineer Catherine Terando presented her July report on Aug. 12, 2024, saying routine operations and maintenance are ongoing. Terando told the board that "they did not receive any bids on the 2015 dump truck" and that she will explore listing the vehicle on an online auction site. She also reported completion of several bridge inspections with assistance from Pat and said she is making headway on the 2025 highway budget.
There were no further questions about the highway report; the full County Highway Engineer report is on file at the Office of the County Clerk & Recorder for review by interested parties.
