Putnam County Board Chairman Charles Lenkaitis convened the regular meeting on Aug. 12, 2024, in the Putnam County Courthouse courtroom in Hennepin. The board approved the bills for July 2024 on a roll call vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays, 2 absent after a motion by Floyd Holocker and a second by Tony Rue.
Board members heard brief reports from county officials across departments. County Highway Engineer Catherine Terando described routine operations, Sheriff Joshua Boedigheimer updated the board on elevator repairs and new hires, and County Treasurer Kevin Kunkel reviewed July financial results and reminded attendees that the second installment of property taxes is due Sept. 6, 2024. County Clerk Tina Dolder reported office revenues and upcoming voter-mailing activity. The meeting adjourned at 7:00 P.M.; the next regular meeting is set for Sept. 8, 2024.
