Mr. Martin reported high school attendance at 94.09%, and Mrs. Manriques reported elementary attendance at 94%, citing a flu outbreak as the reason for the decline.
On action items, the board approved the February 2026 check register and a new personnel policy requiring employees to obtain superintendent approval for absences exceeding three consecutive workdays. Trustees also approved a two-year certification timeline for uncertified teachers and a grant-funded instructional coach position. Following an executive session on personnel, the board voted 7-0 to approve administrator contracts for the 2026–2027 school year.
