The Beckville ISD Board of Trustees approved a call for the upcoming school board election and appointed Keith Williams as election judge and Kelli Vicars as early voting clerk at the Jan. 12 meeting. The motion, made by Trustee Clint Jones and seconded by Trustee Clayton McGuire, passed unanimously. Mr. Tate noted the first day to file is Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026.
The board recorded the incumbents who will be on the ballot this cycle: Clayton McGuire, Terry Wayne Elliott and Katie Jo Davis. Mr. Tate said that if Katie Jo Davis draws an opponent, Mr. Keith Williams will delegate someone else to serve as election judge for Beckville ISD. The appointments were procedural steps required to prepare for the election period.
