At the June 29 meeting the board approved several finance and procurement items. Trustees voted to renew the district's workers' compensation insurance through the TASB Risk Management Fund for 2026''7. The board also approved increasing the annual micro-purchase threshold from $10,000 to $50,000 and authorized the Finance Director to make necessary end-of-year amendments to the 2025''6 budget.
Each item passed on recorded motions: the workers' compensation renewal and the procurement threshold increase passed unanimously 6'0'00, and the authorization for end-of-year budget amendments also passed 6'0'00. The actions give the administration operational authority for routine fiscal management going into the new fiscal year.
