Board signs resolution to cast votes for Chambers County Appraisal District nominees

Becky McManus, Assistant Superintendent of Finance, presented a resolution directing the district's votes for representatives to the Chambers County Appraisal District Board of Directors. The board approved casting votes for previously nominated candidates Laurie Payton and Joey Presnall by a 7-0 vote.
McManus noted the board had approved those nominations on Sept. 22; the Nov. 17 resolution authorizes formal submission of the district's votes. Trustee Benny May made the motion and Trustee Becky Tice seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
