Board adopts multiple local policy revisions and deletes two policies

The Barbers Hill ISD Board of Trustees on Jan. 26 adopted a set of recommended local policy revisions and approved deletion of two policies after presentation by Assistant Superintendent Barbara Ponder.
The board adopted changes to policies DGBA, EB, EEP, EFB, FDA, FNG and GF; the board separately approved the deletion of policies DCA and EEB. The motion to adopt the recommended policy changes was made by Trustee Clint Pipes and seconded by Trustee Becky Tice; the motion passed 6–0 with one trustee absent. The deletion motion was made by Trustee Becky Tice and seconded by Trustee Benny May and likewise passed 6–0. The minutes list the policy codes adopted and deleted but do not print the policy text; the revised and deleted policies are available in the board packet for review.
