At the Aug. 11 meeting the Ballinger ISD Board of Trustees approved several consent and partnership items and tabled one insurance item for more information.
Among the approvals, trustees voted unanimously to: recognize 4‑H as an extracurricular activity and to recognize County Extension Agents as adjunct BISD faculty for 2025-26; approve a Memorandum of Understanding with ESC Region 15 Service Center under the OASIS Grant for Clinical Outreach Services; approve budget amendments to the 2024-25 budget; nominate candidates for the 2026-27 Board of Directors of the Runnels Central Appraisal District; and approve minutes, adult meal pricing, the T‑TESS calendar and the Optional Flexible School Day Program. The minutes record each motion as passed unanimously.
The board tabled consideration of the district’s 2025-26 Property, Cyber and Guardian Insurance and Wind‑Hail Buy Down Policy because requested information was not available; that item was deferred to the next meeting. Attachments are referenced throughout the minutes for details on individual actions.
