The Bland Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously Aug. 18 to adopt the district budget for the 2025–2026 school year, approving appropriations for funds 199, 599, 181 and 240 and adopting the compensation plan presented to the board. The motion to adopt the budget was made by Trustee Kendal Wright and seconded by Trustee Trent Poe; the minutes record the vote as unanimous.
Assistant Superintendent Matthew Todd presented the budget and the proposed tax rate during the meeting. The adoption follows a public hearing during which no members of the public spoke.
