The Ben Bolt–Palito Blanco ISD Board of Trustees moved and approved several routine and action items at its April 27 special meeting. The consent agenda (minutes and the tax-collection report) was approved after a motion by Debbie Garza and a second from Wanda Kay Garcia by a 7-0 vote. The board also approved the district’s March 2026 check register (motion by Debbie Garza, seconded by Jonathan Garcia), and voted to reschedule the May 20 regular meeting to May 27 (motion by Marcos Garcia, seconded by Jonathan Garcia).
On curriculum, the board approved a TEKS clarification (motion by Monica Buentello, seconded by Jonathan Garcia). An item concerning the district’s ability to purchase buses equipped with seat belts as required by the Transportation Code was tabled because of incorrect wording and will be returned to the May meeting for correction. Where votes are recorded, the minutes show unanimous 7-0 approval for the listed items.
