Bosqueville ISD board unanimously approves consent agenda, hires band assistant and adopts improvement plans and policies

The Bosqueville ISD Board approved a slate of routine but consequential items during its Sept. 8 meeting.
The consent agenda — including approval of the Aug. 11, 2025 minutes and budget amendments — was recommended by Mr. Skeeler and approved after a motion by Lance Donaldson and a second by Heath Jackson. The minutes record: "Motion to approve by Lance Donaldson, seconded by Heath Jackson. Approved unanimous."
The Board then approved a personnel item to name Asa Hamilton as Band Assistant for the 2025–2026 school year with a $2,500 stipend; the motion was made by Michael Devorsky and seconded by Lance Donaldson, and recorded as unanimous. Trustees also approved the 2025–2026 District and Campus Improvement Plans (motion by Heath Jackson, second by Christie Harper) and adopted three local policy updates — FM(LOCAL), FNCE(LOCAL) and EFB(LOCAL) — each presented by Mr. Skeeler and each approved by unanimous vote. The minutes show no dissent and do not list any abstentions.
