Dr. Luis told the board TIA funding is established in statute and that districts typically allocate 90% of TIA funds to teacher pay and may use up to 10% for district-level support. Jennifer Heddins, Region 11 Executive Coach for TIA, was present to answer questions and offered regional assistance if Brock proceeds. The board approved the motion 6-0 (For: Brunner, Hays, McGuire, Farmer, Kimball, Lindley).
