Bridge City ISD board approves consent items including financial and budget reports

The Bridge City Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously Dec. 15 to approve a slate of consent agenda items covering routine governance and financial matters. President Rebecca Rutledge presented items A–H, which included approval of the Nov. 17, 2025 meeting minutes, the tax collection report, cash investment and financial reports, paid invoices and budget amendments, utilities, and designation of surplus property.
"A motion was made by Thad Hill and seconded by Jerry Mclnnis to approve the consent action items as presented," the minutes state. The motion passed with all trustees recorded in favor: Rutledge, Cole, Zoch, Hill, Anderson, Johnson and Mclnnis. The approvals were procedural and require no further action at this time.
