The Bullard Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved a contract for Dr. Micah Dyer to officially assume Superintendent of Schools at a special meeting on March 17, 2026. Trustee Chris McNertney made the motion to approve the contract, and Trustee Jaclyn Pedersen seconded; the motion carried 6-0.
President Stephanie Luper opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. and stated, "Let the record indicate that a quorum of board members is present, that this meeting is duly called, and that notice of this meeting was posted in accordance with The Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551."
