Trustee Greg Wyatt moved for adoption, and Trustee Larry Tedford seconded; the minutes record a unanimous vote by Trustees Marsha Stephens, Larry Tedford, Greg Wyatt, Fred Griffin, Ronda Cade and Michele Blackmon.
The update, listed in the minutes as TASB Update 126 Affecting (LOCAL) Policies, touches numerous policy codes including BE (Board Meetings), BED (Public Participation), CJ and CJA (Contracted Services/background checks), CLE (Buildings, Grounds, and Equipment Management Required Displays), CQB and CQD (Technology Resources: Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence), CSA and CV (Facility Standards and Facilities Construction), multiple personnel and student welfare policies (DBD, DEC, DFBB, DGBA, DH, EEP, EFA, EHBAF, EIA, FA, FEF, FFAC, FFB, FFF, FFG, FNG, FO, GF, GKA). The minutes do not provide the text of each policy change; the action records only the Board's approval to adopt the TASB update at second reading.
