The Bryan Independent School District Board of Trustees approved its full consent agenda on Feb. 23, 2026, including Targeted Improvement Plans (TIPs) for Sadberry Intermediate, Long Intermediate, Rayburn Intermediate and SFA Middle School, the quarterly investment report for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2025, and continuation of memoranda of understanding with Prairie View A&M University and Sam Houston State University. Board member Felicia Benford moved to approve all consent items, and Ruthie Waller seconded; the motion passed 6-0 with one absence (Julie Harlin).
Board President Joel Bryan had opened a public hearing at 7:48 p.m. on the four TIPs and adjourned the hearing at 8:01 p.m. before returning to the consent vote. The consent package also included approval of minutes from the Feb. 2 meeting and an interlocal agreement with Brazos County for the transfer of fiber optic cable. No separate discussion or amendments to the consent items were recorded in the meeting summary.
