Commissioner Malyre moved to approve a variance to section 90-53 and an associated encroachment agreement for property identified as Tax Map 083 Parcel 046 so the owner can rebuild a single-family residence on the existing slab, and the motion was seconded and carried. Planning staff explained the lot is in an AR zoning district and that a portion of the proposed house would fall inside the side setback; the applicant seeks to restore the prior single-family residence that burned in 2008. "This is a request for a variance as well as an easement encroachment agreement," planning staff explained during the presentation.
The board approved the motion with conditions enumerated in the July 16 planning commission report, as noted by the mover. No recorded roll-call vote with individual names was given in the transcript; the chair called for those in favor and announced the motion carried.
