He thanked workers, volunteers and residents for their understanding and asked the community to "please bear with our Public Works Department as they try to get our streets under control."
The Mayor indicated the Police Department is recruiting for a new patrolman and is engaged in the evaluation process. Engineer Nassar later noted that weather had postponed Zion pump activities and that the LRIG application for four pavilions had been submitted on time.
